Social Activities
Social activities are the glue that binds the community together. It is through community animation and social get-togethers that the community really comes together and truly celebrates its cultural heritage.
We offer a number of activites for all age groups :
Annual activities

Group Activities
Book Club : This club holds monthly meetings from September to June.
Bowling Club : This activity takes place weekly from September fo June at Centre Jami Quilles on boulevard Frontenac in Thetford Mines. It is held on Tuesday evenings in the fall and on Sunday afternoons during winter.
Activities for our friends from the French Community
Conversation Club : Weekly meetings on Wednesday afternoons for those who wish to improve their English-speaking skills.
Parents & Tots Playgroup : Weekly playgroup each Monday morning for parents and their pre-schoolers where children can familiarize themselves with the English language through craft, songs and story telling.
Community Library
Our community library offers a very good selection of books and magazines as well as daily newspapers in English and a variety of DVD`s. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
