Local Archives - Bibliography

A few years ago, with the financial support of Canadian Heritage, MCDC inventoried a number of historical documents and photographs in order to document the history of the English-speaking community in our region (Appalaches, Lotbinière and L'Érable).

Many documents were photographed and are available for viewing in a series of binders at the MCDC local community library, located at 906 Mooney Street, Thetford Mines.

Opening hours for the library are 9:00 to 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday.

They can also be viewed in a CD format, which can be purchased directly from MCDC for $5.00 plus $2.50 for shipping expenses. To order a CD, please call us at 418-332-3851 or e-mail us at: mcdc@bellnet.ca
