At MCDC (Making Connections, Developing Community), we believe strong communities are built through human connection, trust, and care. For over 25 years, we have supported the English-speaking community of Chaudière-Appalaches by improving access to health and social services.

We are now seeking a compassionate, proactive, and community-driven professional who wants to make a meaningful impact — especially in the lives of seniors, caregivers, and vulnerable individuals.

This role is for someone who wants more than a job. It's for someone who wants purpose.

 

What You Will Be Doing

  • Build meaningful relationships with community members

  • Support individuals in navigating health and social service systems

  • Provide information, guidance, and follow-up for seniors, caregivers, and vulnerable people

  • Develop and share accessible health and social service information in English

  • Participate in community events, outreach activities, and presentations

  • Represent MCDC at regional committees and partner tables

  • Collaborate with colleagues and partners to ensure strong follow-up and reporting

 

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in health, social services, or community development

  • Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills

  • Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written)

  • Organized, autonomous, and people-centred

  • Knowledge of Quebec's English-speaking community is an asset
